On a hot morning

many ideas in gray

pass in front of me.

Though they don’t leave

very sad vibrations behind,

as phantoms of sound

they are such whispers

as to make me feel like drooping my head forever.

As color

they are so lacking in dark and light

that they almost seem

to turn into shade.


So it is

that ideas are on the verge of vanishing; but


Hurry up

and look!

I’m sweating as I urge you!”



reluctant to say goodbye,

can’t help thinking,

by the window overgrown with ivy,

of sound and color that are not of this world  . . . .
