Elizabeth Beaton
Elizabeth Beaton is finishing her PhD at the Australian National University, working on her first novel. Her poetry has been translated for the Balkan Literary Herald, and published by Burley Journal, Voiceworks and the ACT Writers’ Centre. She has served on the committee for the Melbourne Poets Union and on the editorial committee of Block Literary Journal; judged the Michael Thwaites Poetry Award; and featured as an Australian Poetry Café Poet. These poems are dedicated to her brother John.
