William Heyen lives in western New York State, where he is Prof. English/Poet in Residence at SUNY Brockport.  He is a former Senior Fulbright Lecturer in American Literature in Germany, a Guggenheim fellow in poetry, and the author of dozens of books including Crazy Horse in Stillness (winner of the Small Press Book Award) Shoah Train: Poems (finalist for the National Book Award), and A Poetics of Hiroshima (a selection of the Chautauqua Literary & Scientific Circle). His Hiroshima Suite and The Football Corporations appeared last year.  His massive journal is beginning to appear from HNGM_N Press, two volumes so far—The Cabin & Hannelore—and at least several more to come.
