Sweet Buds
The sweet buds, they’ve broken out.
My fingertips pull at them.
The horizon cracks open all along its length.
Tapered screams turn to fluff:
once again
the same smell rises
steaming from my collar bone.
Good morning.
I raise my right leg,
stretch my body
towards that distant power source,
and a man’s
morning shirt cuff, still cool,
smells
very good.
Almost like some underwater
gesture,
subtly
distant:
tapping at the keyboard against the wall,
the destitute mascot’s
fingers
slowly thicken.
Flooded with fluorescent light
like insults,
my exposed vertebrae
are mocked.
I must be
wrong.
The ship has
already come
for my heart.
甘い芽
甘い芽が、はえた
指先がしめる
地平のつづきが割れてくる
細い悲鳴がけばだって
また
同じ匂いが
鎖骨から蒸れあがる
おはようございます
右足を浮かせ
とおい電源へ
からだをのばすと
男の
まだ冷たい、朝の袖口は
とてもいい
匂いがする
まるで水中の
ジェスチュア
すこし
離れて
壁際でキーボードを叩く
不自由な着ぐるみの
指は
だんだん太くなる
蛍光灯を
悪口のように浴びて
剥き出しの背骨を
笑われる
わたしは
きっと間違える
もう
船が心臓を
むかえにくる
